Riccardo in Verdi's Ballo was one of Tucker's ten Verdi roles.  He was the Riccardo on the historic occasion of Marion Anderson's Met debut in 1955, pictured below with (from left) Tucker, Roberta Peters, Zinka Milanov, Anderson and Leonard Warren.
